“TITANIC” TOPS BEST CHICK FLICK SURVEY
"Titanic" has topped a new Valentine's Day-themed online poll to find the Best Chick Flick Movie of all time. The James Cameron epic, which spent a decade as the most successful film ever made, beat out Julia Roberts' happy hooker movie "Pretty Woman" and "Dirty Dancing" in the Fandango.com poll.
In a related survey, "Sex and the City 2" was voted the Worst Chick Flick Movie - ahead of "All About Steve" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".

ARNIE PLANS MOVIE COMEBACK
Arnold Schwarzenegger is accepting serious film offers again a month after stepping down as California's governor. The action man has taken to his Twitter.com account to let fans know he's planning a major Hollywood comeback.
He wrote, "Exciting news. My friends at (agency) CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today."
LANGUAGE TRIVIA ... QUISLING
The word quisling comes from the name of Major Vidkun Quisling, a Norwegian who collaborated with the Germans during their occupation of Norway. The word now means "traitor."
MEN SPEND TWICE AS MUCH AS WOMEN ON VALENTINE’S DAY
According to a study by the U. S. National Retail Foundation, Americans are expected to spend $15.7 billion expressing love on Valentine’s Day.
Apparently men will spend more than twice as much on gifts as women, shelling out $158.71 on average. Ladies, however, will spend around $75.79.
Jewellery is the most popular gift this holiday, with 17.3% buying their significant other a little bling. Interestingly, only 52% of people buy a card.
PEGGY REA PASSES
The "Duke of Hazzard" star Peggy Rea has died. She was 89. The actress passed away after suffering congestive heart failure on Saturday, February 5 at her home in Toluca Lake, California, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Rea made her debut in "I Love Lucy" in 1953, but is best known for playing Boss Hogg's wife Lulu in "The Dukes of Hazzard".
TRIVIA BITS … BUCKINGHAM PALACE
The balcony of Buckingham Palace is one of the most famous in the world. The first recorded Royal balcony appearance took place in 1851, when Queen Victoria stepped onto it during celebrations for the opening of the Great Exhibition. It was King George VI who introduced the custom of the RAF fly-past at the end of Trooping the Colour, when the Royal Family appear on the balcony.
The east side of the Palace (today's front wing) was the last to be built. Queen Victoria had it added in the 1840s to provide extra space for her growing family. The new wing meant that the monument known as Marble Arch, originally at the entrance to Buckingham Palace, had to be moved to its present site near Speaker's Corner in 1851.
Buckingham Palace provided an unlikely operating theatre for King Edward VII in 1902. Suffering from peritonitis and close to death, he was operated on in a room overlooking the garden. The surgery proved a success, and King Edward VII was crowned at Westminster Abbey in August that year.
There are 1,514 doors and 760 windows in Buckingham Palace. All windows are cleaned every six weeks to keep them clean.
Electricity was first installed in the Ball Room of Buckingham Palace in 1883, and between 1883 and 1887 electricity was extended throughout the Palace. Today there are over 40,000 light bulbs in the Palace.
ELLEN IS KATE’S DISTANT COUSIN
U.S. comedienne-turned-TV personality Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating after learning she's a distant cousin of royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton. The funnywoman has been joking about getting an invite to England's big wedding in April - and now it appears she has a right to be there.
DeGeneres decided to ask the New England Historic Genealogical Society to poke into her roots to see if she has any royal links - and she was stunned to discover she's the 15th cousin of Britain's future queen. A letter from the ancestry hunters reads, "Our trusty genealogists have been at work on Kate Middleton's genealogy, with the big Royal wedding coming up."

“X-MEN: FIRST CLASS” ON FACEBOOK
The first trailer for "X-Men: First Class" debuted on February 10 exclusively on Facebook, or more specifically Facebook.com/XMenMovies.
As the number of fans who share the trailer grows, a "specially designed X-App" will subsequently unlock special content including new stills and ways to customise one's Facebook page.
In preparation for the launch, the official logo for the film has been released, as has a new still of Magneto.
LANGUAGE TRIVIA ... “IT’S ALL FUN AND GAMES…”
The term, "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye" is from Ancient Rome. The only rule during wrestling matches was, "No eye gouging." Everything else was allowed, but the only way to be disqualified is to poke someone's eye out.
ARETHA RETURNS TO THE STAGE IN MAY
Aretha Franklin will return to the stage in May for a still-to-be announced tribute show. The Queen of Soul worried fans when a health issue prompted her to scrap a series of end-of-year shows in 2010.
She recently dismissed reports she has has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - and now she's making plans to perform the shows she was forced to postpone last year. Her comeback show in May will be "a network special with a lot of artists coming in to do a tribute for me," and her first proper dates will be a three-night stand from June 3-5 at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan.
PEPSI TO RELEASE “SKINNY CAN”
Diet Pepsi will soon be available in a "taller, sassier new Skinny Can" that the company says is a "celebration of beautiful, confident women."
Diet Pepsi's new 'skinny can' will debut at New York's Fall 2011 fashion week.
The new can -- which stands just more than six inches in height -- will make its debut at New York's Fall 2011 fashion week later this month, but it won't hit stores until March.
"Our slim, attractive new can is the perfect complement to today's most stylish looks," said Jill Beraud, chief marketing officer at Pepsi (PEP, Fortune 500). "We're excited to throw its coming-out party, during the biggest celebration of innovative design in the world."
The new look will be rolled out with an assist from Simon Doonan -- the fashion commentator famous for his store window displays -- who will unveil a "special collaboration" in New York on Feb. 11.
"Diet Pepsi has a long history of celebrating women through iconic fashion imagery seen in our infamous and historical campaigns, and we're proud to continue that tradition," Beraud said.
For consumers who prefer their soda cans to be the traditional short and fat product -- no need to worry. A Pepsi spokeswoman confirmed the old model will remain on shelves.

GORAN JOINS “GIRL WITH DRAGON TATTOO”
Goran Visnjic has signed on to play Dragan Armansky in David Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" adaptation for Sony Pictures reports Deadline
In the books, Armansky is the CEO of the firm Milton Security which employs young hacker Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). The character is part of the entire trilogy and Visnjic has signed on for all three films. Armansky's memorable role from the books was reduced to little more than a cameo in the previous Swedish film series.
Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara star in the Steve Zaillian-scripted film which Scott Rudin is producing.

BOB DYLAN TO PLAY GRAMMYS
Folk legend Bob Dylan is set to take the stage alongside The Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 13. The "Blowin' in the Wind" hitmaker will play his acoustic guitar with the rising folk rock bands in a three-act mini-set, which will mark Dylan's fifth performance at the big event.
Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich tells the Los Angeles Times, "I don't think either of these bands would be on a stage if it wasn't for the music of Bob Dylan. I think for the harmonies alone it should be something special. You don't know what you've got, what the blend is, until you see it, but I think it could be fantastic."
