At concerts and parties, these impossibly neon glowsticks are waved. No reason why our pets can’t get in on the fun as well. It’s for their own good, too: the Glowdoggie LED collar lets them be seen and minimises their chances of ending up as road kill at night or in bad weather.
Unlike the usual glowsticks that spark light by chemical reactions between phenyl oxalate ester and hydrogen peroxide, the LED collars are battery-powered and come with energy-saving motion sensor chips that automatically turn the light on and off.
